Esperanto is only for idealists or has hidden political agendas.

Some individuals believe that "Esperanto is only for idealists or has hidden political agendas" . While Esperanto's genesis was indeed rooted in Zamenhof's idealistic vision of fostering peace and international understanding , and the language has historically been embraced by various political movements such as socialism and anarchism , the contemporary Esperanto community is remarkably diverse. Its speakers hold a wide spectrum of political and ideological beliefs . The language itself is designed to be a neutral tool for communication, belonging equally to all who choose to use it, rather than being inherently tied to any specific political agenda . The initial purpose of promoting peace and understanding has evolved to encompass personal connection, the facilitation of further language learning, and the appreciation of a unique linguistic creation, attracting individuals with a multitude of motivations.
